Dodami ("the app") is a pet health tracker published by Solruna ("we"). This policy explains what data the app handles and why. The short version: your pets' records stay on your device; we run no server and require no account.
Your pet profiles, vaccination and medication records, weight entries, custom health records, vet visit notes, and attached photos and documents (such as vaccination certificates and prescriptions) are stored in a local database on your device. We cannot access them. They leave your device only when you explicitly use the CSV export or backup feature, which hands the files to an app of your choosing via the system share sheet. Uninstalling the app deletes this data from your device.
On Android, if Android backup is turned on for your Google account, Android may include the app's database (your records, but not attached photos and documents) in that backup so it can be restored on a new phone. Google stores this backup in your account; we cannot access it. You can turn it off in Android settings.
On iPhone, if iCloud Backup is turned on, iOS may include the app's data (your records and attached photos and documents) in your iCloud backup so it can be restored on a new iPhone. Apple stores this backup in your iCloud account; we cannot access it. You can manage it in iOS Settings under iCloud Backup.
When you take a photo with the camera to attach to a record, the app also saves the original on your phone — in a "Dodami" album in the gallery on Android, or in your photo library in the Photos app on iPhone — so you keep the full-resolution picture; the app itself keeps a smaller copy. From there, your gallery and photo apps handle it according to your own settings (for example, your photo app's cloud backup).
Deleting a pet in the app removes it from every screen, export, and reminder. Its records stay in the app's local database on your device and are never sent anywhere; uninstalling the app deletes them.
The app uses the following services, which collect limited data on our behalf:
If your device appears to be in the EEA, the UK, Switzerland, Thailand, or Saudi Arabia, usage statistics (Firebase Analytics) and crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) stay off until you agree in the app. Wherever you are, you can turn them off or on at any time in Settings › Usage statistics and crash reports.
Vaccine and medication reminders are scheduled locally on your device. Reminder contents (pet names, medication names) never leave your device.
Dodami Premium (subscription or one-time lifetime purchase) is processed by Google Play on Android and by the App Store on iPhone. We receive no payment details. Your records are never locked behind a purchase: CSV export and backup restore remain free forever.
Because the app has no accounts, the data these services hold is linked only to random identifiers, not to your name. To stop or remove it, you can turn off usage statistics and crash reports in Settings › Usage statistics and crash reports; on Android, reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings (on iPhone, the app does not use the IDFA); and uninstall the app, which stops all collection and deletes the app's data from your device. You can also email info@solruna.com to ask us to delete data held by our service providers (usage statistics, crash reports, purchase records). The app does not display these identifiers, so please tell us roughly when you used the app and, for purchases, include the order number from your Google Play or App Store receipt. We will delete what we can locate and reply within 30 days.
Dodami is a record-keeping tool. It does not provide medical advice and is not a substitute for professional veterinary care.
The app is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes, and the current version is always at this address.
